Japanese Conversation Circle

A live speaking event where students of all levels come together, share what they know, and grow through real conversation.

Weekly Group Speaking Event
🗓 Every Thursday
🕕 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
💻 Zoom (link sent on sign-up)

The basis of this event is speaking Japanese. Each student takes a turn introducing themselves and sharing one thing they know — a grammar point, a cultural fact, a sentence, or anything about the language. You don't need to be advanced to join, but you should come prepared with at least one thing to share. Jennifer will lead the session and correct grammar along the way.

Advanced students benefit too — teaching reinforces your own speaking ability. Everyone leaves with something new.

Recommended: N4 & above Beginners welcome Speaking focused Culture & language Grammar correction included

📌 Please prepare before you join: Research at least one thing to share — a word, a sentence, a grammar point, or something about Japanese culture. Students who feel they have nothing to share should use this as motivation to learn something new before the event!

I am a professional Japanese teacher currently on Preply with over 1,200 hours of experience. I completed a Japanese teacher training course in 2022 and worked as a Japanese and English teacher before moving to Delaware, USA two years ago.

I want to expand my opportunity to solve real problems for learners — making lessons more affordable, helping you gain motivation from peers, and building real connections.
